When you install the BeFrugal Button or extension, a little pink pig shows up in your browser bar to the right of your search box when you open Chrome, Firefox or Explorer.

Using this button is the easiest way to open BeFrugal when you want to earn cashback on your online purchases and it helps you save money by automatically applying coupon codes when you shop online.

The button also saves you time because clicking straight on it saves you having to type in the BeFrugal web address or searching it up every time you want to browse or shop for something and earn money back.

Once you have the BeFrugal Button installed, when you want to buy a product or service online, you just open your internet browser and click on your BeFrugal Extension icon (the pink pig) and a search window pops up. It looks similar to the image below.

3. Search For A Store

Now simply type the shop name you’re looking for into the BeFrugal search bar.

When you click ‘enter’ and browse to a store, a screen like this shows up with all the results for your search.

The results list shows you how much cashback you can earn at that store and what deals and coupons are available for it.

You can then either click the green cashback %, the ‘Shop Now’ or ‘Coupon’ buttons. From here you’ll be linked to the store you selected and you shop there as you usually would.

There are over 5000 stores to choose from and the list includes big names like Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Home Depot, Etsy, and so on.

All stores featured are easy to find from the ‘Stores’ dropdown at the top left of the BeFrugal menu at the top of the screen.

Hovering over the ‘Stores; option reveals 23 overall categories for you to choose from. The categories include baby, kids & toys, beauty, computers, travel, pets, health & wellbeing, and more.

At the bottom of this menu, you can also navigate to ‘All Stores’ to see what’s available.

A bonus is that as you hover over a store’s category, featured deals in it pop up alongside, aiming to help fast track you to your destination.

Another way to find the store you want is to use the website’s search bar on the top right of the screen.

4. Find Your Store & Shop As Usual

When you shop online, click on the BeFrugal button to activate your cashback savings. A search box will pop up so enter the shop you’re looking for in there. From here you’ll be taken into the BeFrugal interface to all the deals available for that store.

Now click on any ‘Coupon’, ‘Deal’ or ‘Shop Now’ button to activate your cashback and then complete your purchases in that store as you normally would.

While the BeFrugal Button features coupons for 40,000+ stores and earns you up to 40% Cash Back at 5000+ stores, the Amazon store is not supported on the BeFrugal Button.

You can still earn cashback on your Amazon purchases however by starting your shopping at https://www.befrugal.com/store/amazon/. Awesome!

Another way you can make cashback savings without using the BeFrugal button is to browse straight to your chosen store online e.g. Target, and then to click on the BeFrugal Button extension to view the list of all coupons for that store.

You then just need to click on any coupon in the resulting pop-up list to activate it, or you could copy the coupon code and apply it when requested at checkout.

How You Save & Earn

When cashback is available at a store in BeFrugal, a Cash Back Alert appears in your browser indicating the current deals for that store. Next, click on the ‘Activate Cash Back’ button to activate your cashback, then complete your order without closing the browser or leaving the store.

A new money-saving feature of the BeFrugal Button is Couponomatic™. It saves you even more time and money by automatically applying coupon codes to your cart during checkout so you now don’t have to hunt for coupons.
